Happy Monday, Everyone! The sun is shining, and SPRING IS HERE! Sunshine and warm weather are just fuel for my soul, and I’m so excited to bring you this late summer engagement session from last year of one of the most genuine couples we have ever had the pleasure of serving!

If you would look into my Instagram DM’s or text messages than you would quickly see that JoAnna and I have become such close friends since we first met about a year ago! She and Rob seriously have the most romantic movie-like love story I have ever heard! She told me this story when we met for coffee at Prince Street Cafe in Downtown Lancaster last March after our dear friends Philter Photo referred her to us. It was just made in the stars that our lives were meant to cross, she and Rob live on Long Island, NY and she was only in town for that day, and while we meet with couples pretty frequently over video chat due to long-distance, nothing beats meeting them in person if we’re able to! I thank Jesus that my afternoon was free that day and was able to meet her in person before her trip back home.

JoAnna is such a bright light, and my empath-ness just lit up with excitement as we talked about ourselves and got to know each other on a personal level because y’all know we’re all about creating a personal experience for our couples! Then she went on to tell me about her love story with Rob, and I just MELTED! You see, they grew up together, both their families are very close, so their whole lives they were best friends. So on and so forth, then after high school, they both went off to start their degrees and one day they were both home and went to an Ed Sheehan Concert, during the song “Perfect” Rob went over to JoAnna and said that he has always loved her, JoAnna said she loved him back, and they kissed! Their love story officially began and were engaged shortly after! Now, the way JoAnna described it to me was a lot more romantic than I can ever put into words, but trust me, my heart was swooning! I may be a little biased because Mike’s and my wedding song is “Perfect” by Ed Sheehan, but still! These two are the cutest and most down to earth people on the planet! Their wedding was no different, but you’ll just have to wait for that blog post…here’s a little hint…we witnessed and experienced things we have never seen before at a wedding, and I was in tears multiple times during that wedding.

JoAnna and Rob, It’s no secret how much we love you both and how happy we are that you two came into our lives, and we can call our friends! We cannot wait for the day that we’re able to socialize again because you can guarantee that we’ll be heading to Long Island to hang out with you both! Love you lots!
