Hello friends! Today we are featuring one of our engagement sessions that took place over a year ago that never got blogged because we were going through a rebranding and didn’t even have a blog at the time! We met Katlyn and Julian over a video call however were referred to us by our dear friends at the Cork Factory Hotel See their wedding blog here!. Meeting them was like chatting with old friends! We instantly connected with their souls, and we knew that great things would come from this connection!
Katlyn and Julian had a pretty short engagement, so we did their engagement session in the dead of winter, now don’t get us wrong, we adore winter sessions! However, these two just needed color, their personalities demanded it! So I suggested Longwood Gardens, that way, we would have the opportunity to represent them and also not freeze our butts off. Also, being able to photograph in practically every season except fall in one session, that’s a win-win-win in our books! This session was filled with love, laughter, and running through freezing temperatures to get to the warm buildings! It was the perfect way to spend the workday in the middle of the slow winter season!
Katlyn is one of our brides that is fighting the good fight of COVID-19, working at Johns Hopkins Hospital. We are so incredibly proud of her and everything she is doing in the healthcare field!
Katlyn & Julian, you two are such bright lights, and we are better for knowing you! We had the absolute most incredible time hanging with you both despite the long distance between us! Trust me, next time we’re in Baltimore, we will most definitely be calling you both for a double date!
