Since we’re on the roll of Philadelphia, let’s talk about Fishtown for a little bit. Fishtown is every millennial’s dream neighborhood! It’s immersed in modern cafes and bars and has art bursting at the seams! We were itching to photograph one of our couples there, and Jessica and Dylan were all for it!
We met Jessica and Dylan at the Cork Factory Open House last year, and the connection was just instant! Not only was the connection so apparent between them and us, but even with both of their families! We always make it a priority to create a close relationship with each and every one of our couples, but we usually don’t get to meet the family members until the wedding day. So being welcomed by both of their families before Jessica and Dylan even signed their agreement was so heartwarming!
At their session, we met during sunrise at Race Street Pier in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We have found that sunrise on a Sunday is the BEST time to photograph a session in Philadelphia. There are usually fewer crowds, which means less waiting for crowds to die down and making parking much easier!
After the Pier, that’s when we were on the search for some awesome street art and just had the best time exploring and building upon our relationship with them. I mean, you know a session goes amazing when you laugh and hug the entire time as well as get some inside jokes going!
You’ll see in the last photo, the height difference between myself and Jessica & Dylan….now I’m 5’3″ so I’m pretty short next to most of our couples; however, Jessica and Dylan are our tallest couple to date, and we love them even more for it!
These two are getting married at the Cork Factory Hotel in November 2020, and we are counting down the days!
Jessica & Dylan, you both know how much we adore you guys, as a couple and as individuals! We are so incredibly honored to be on this journey with you! On top of that we are even more honored to be your friends! Cheers to you! 🥂🍾✨
