Summer nights spent at Longwood Gardens are summer nights well spent. Sarah & Doug’s engagement session was no different. We frequently talk about the importance of detail, style, and fashion in engagement sessions. Engagement sessions aren’t just something to get through, it is a vital part of the experience. It’s where you can dress up to the nines and pick a place that is so beautiful without the hustle and rush of your wedding day. During engagement sessions, we get to relax and go through our posing repertoire with each couple slowly, catering and adapting it to each individual couple. Every groom has a GQ look; we have yet to come across a groom that doesn’t! This is where we find that. This is where we get to dig deep and create beautiful and artistic moments, letting the poses just breathe out of you. This is the magic of engagement sessions.

As you have caught on, we start each journal entry with some sort of quote. We do this because everything in life has romance. What’s more romantic than poetry? Poetry has a way of awakening the soul and making it dance. Everything has romance, and that is something we try to convey in every aspect of our business.

Sarah & Doug are no different; Sarah took our style guide and did not disappoint! From a romantic blush dress with lots of movement and softness to a more fitting modern luxury dress. We were in fashion heaven with these two! And do not be fooled; this was a very typical summer day in Pennsylvania with the heat and humidity. And these two did not let that stop them! From frolicking through the fountains to twirling through the gardens, the heat had nothing on them! These two lovers will be getting married at the Cork Factory Hotel in April of 2022, and we’re counting down the days to the magic!
