Okay, so I’m not so great at this blogging thing…got 3 blog posts up for the launch of our new brand and that was about it. However, my goal is to get better at it! So be prepared to get bombarded with blog posts this off season as we get caught up in time to finally get on a routine schedule for the start of the season!
We’re going to start off with my (April) trip to Spain. This trip took months to plan, however it did not go as planned. Without being too much of a negative Nancy. I have many bitter sweet feelings about this trip. I learned a lot about myself, the highs and the lows. The lows were so low that I was actually researching flights to come home early. After realizing that it would cost almost $3,000 to come home early and a long talk with Mike and my therapist I decided to stay. And I’m glad I did.
I have always felt that I have a very diverse and open heart. But growing up in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania I didn’t have any proof that, that feeling was actually true. But spending a week in this country definitely proved my heart was right. Roaming the streets, climbing stairs…so so so many stairs, eating REAL food, the history, the colors. Everything there is so incredible.
By far my favorite memories from this trip was hiking the Montserrat Monastery and sailing in a wooden sailboat on the Mediterranean at sunset. Here’s to the city that will always have a part of my heart even if we didn’t have the best first impression of each other. ππ»β¨πΎπ₯π€
